What is Connexion?
August 13th, 2005 by Scott AndreasConnexion is a group of students and 20somethings seeking to know the gospel of Jesus Christ more fully, live it authentically and spread it widely. Our mission: receiving, equipping, and sending college students as followers of Jesus Christ. That means:
- Sunday night worship service (7 pm) — designed for college students and 20-somethings. Music, drama, visual arts, and Biblically-based messages focused on helping us all see how God’s Word is relevant to our lives today.
- C-Groups — Midweek small groups (”c” stands for Community) where students meet together in the context of Biblical community to encourage and challenge each other to a deeper level of study and application of God’s Word.
- Renovo — Renovo is a Connexion service group connecting college students with folks in need. The group is passionate about answering Christ’s call to serve the least of these as a part of the local church-doing so with a spirit of unity found in scripture.
- Social events, service opportunities, and Spring Break service projects. Sign up here.
- Support for students in integrating their academic and vocational endeavors with the Christian faith.
- We believe that cross-generational interaction is vital in creating a healthy environment for spiritual growth during the college years. We facilitate opportunities for interaction with children, families, and “seniors” in the body of Christ at ECC.
ECC is located at 503 South High Street in Bloomington, IN just two blocks from the Indiana University campus. For more information and a map, head this way.

Hey,
Just checking out your web site. My wife’s cousin is an international student from Taiwan at IU. Starting to learn some about Christianity, but no friends who do church yet. Do you have any Chinese students?
